Sierra, a native of Raleigh, North Carolina, is pursuing an accelerated master’s degree in architecture from Hampton University. As an Endowed Scholar and 2024–2025 White House Scholar, Sierra is recognized for her interdisciplinary drive and academic excellence. Her interests center on equitable development, resilient housing, and the ways design decisions intersect with economic systems and public investment. Currently serving as a Government Relations intern, Sierra leverages her technical design background and financial interest to navigate the legislative processes governing state infrastructure. Through her academic work and professional experiences, she is committed to shaping built environments that are both socially responsive and financially sustainable. Sierra is passionate about bridging the gap between high-performance design and state-level fiscal policy.
