Prianka Mandal is a Ph.D. candidate in the computer science department at William & Mary. She is advised by Dr. Adwait Nadkarni and a member of the Secure Platforms Lab (SPL). Her research interest focuses on the usability of security and privacy in smart computing platforms. She systematically analyzes smart platform security and privacy practices and explores stakeholders’ perceptions of the practices. Prianka completed her Master of Science in Software Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Software Engineering from the University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Prianka is looking forward to applying her knowledge and research skills toward real-world policymaking as a 2024 COVES fellow.
