Lindsey Dillard

Lindsey Dillard is a first-year master’s student at the Virginia Institute of Marine Science. Before pursuing her graduate degree, Lindsey earned her B.S. in Biology at William & Mary in 2024 and spent a year working for the U.S. Forest Service in the George Washington and Jefferson National Forest. She is currently a member of Dr. Adriane Michaelis’ Communities & Coasts Lab, where she is interested in studying the socioeconomic impacts of offshore wind development on commercial fishermen. She hopes to apply the skills she has gained through her experiences at W&M, USFS, and VIMS to the COVES fellowship and toward a career in environmental public service.
